Directing and Theatre education
In 2018, Devyn had the honor of directing "Luna", a Theatre for Young Audiences play. This play traveled to elementary schools across Denver and Northern Colorado and touched the lives of many young people. Some had never seen a play, never seen people who looked like them or spoke spanish on stage, or hadn't before considered the tough lives of migrant farm workers.

Devyn found a love for theatre education at an early age. She acted as an assistant for younger dance classes and taught improv and theatre workshops to K-12 as a high schooler.
In 2018, Devyn graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Acting and K-12 Theatre Education. She holds a CO K-12 Teaching License, and is also qualified to teach 7-12 English through a passed PRAXIS test.
In the 4.5 years of training for her degree, she logged over 1000 hours of in-classroom work (large group and small group instruction), taught in a variety of K-12 classrooms, and completed a summer long Education Internship with Lexington Children's Theatre.
She is currently a teaching artist, director, and choreographer at the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, CA. There, she has directed and choreographed musicals such as Once On This Island Jr, Frozen Jr, Legally Blonde Jr, and Lion King.
