Improv!
Devyn is currently training with the Groundlings Theatre on the core improv track and UCB LA.
She began improvising with her high school improv troupe "Mixed Nuts". The team studied short form, long form, and sketch with Jared McBain, a coach from iO Chicago and the Annoyance.
She moved on to her collegiate improv troupe "CHAOS"where she refined her skills, mostly using UCB style training.
She has performed as a featured improviser at the Bovine Metropolis Theatre, Voodoo Comedy, and in the 20th NYC Del Close Marathon.
In 2017, Devyn took on the role of Outreach Coordinator on her improv troupe, where she developed a program called "Fishbowl Improv". Through this program, she taught improv workshops to hundreds of high school and college students. Like a nerd, she has read the entire UCB Comedy Manual and Truth in Comedy more than once ;)
